I have already been blown away at the artwork on display here. I am in the process of writing an article about DeviantArt and this of course prompted me to create an account here. Within a few minutes I fell in love with the place. I suppose if you really use the term very loosely you might refer to me as a lower tier artist in that I have been doing graphics for about 15 years now and mostly as it relates to web development in the form of icons, logos, banners, backgrounds and various artworks. What I can tell you is that a few minutes here gave me the realization that I am no where even near on par with the vast majority of talent in this place. This does not discourage me but rather motivates me to use this platform as a tool to learn from the pro's who seem all so willing to share bits and pieces of their knowledge. I also will be finding a lot of entertainment just enjoying all of the amazing art that is on display here.
